THE WAIT IS OVER: SAVE THE DATE
ARTLANDS 2026
A national gathering for regional creative futures
23 - 25 September, 2026
Kabi Kabi and Jinibara Country | Sunshine Coast, QLD
Part symposium. Part think tank. Part workshop.
Artlands 2026 brings together artists, cultural workers, facilitators, thinkers and collaborators from across regional Australia for three days of deep listening, bold ideas and collective imagining.
Artlands responds to its moment. It connects the dots across artforms, industries, generations and cultures - creating space for many voices to meet, exchange and shape what comes next. This curated gathering will convene selected participants, presenters and facilitators to explore innovative ways of thinking, working and partnering that can unlock ambition in regional Australia and support sustainable creative practice.
Together, we will consider collaboration as a driver of systems change - asking better questions, learning from lived experience, and building pathways that strengthen the regional arts ecosystem.
Expressions of Interest to attend the 3-day gathering will open soon.
Save the date - and be part of shaping the future of regional creativity.

ABOUT ARTLANDS
Established in 1998, Artlands is Regional Arts Australia's signature national gathering and a cornerstone of our people and place-led approach. As regional Australia continues to change, Artlands provides a vital forum to reflect, connect and respond - surveying the contemporary regional cultural landscape while strengthening a national network of artists, arts workers and advocates.
Artlands is designed to be responsive, contemporary and strategically positioned - championing best practice, encouraging meaningful exchange and supporting collaboration across sectors and communities.
