Artlands23
C R E A T I N G S P A C E
Co-designing and delivering Artlands '23
A documentary by Regional Arts Australia.
ABOUT:
On 6-8 September 2023, 80 purposefully selected participants from across Australia gathered at the National Gallery of Australia on Ngunnawal and Ngambri Country for Artlands 2023, marking 80 years of Regional Arts Australia.
Artlands '23 embodied a profound systems change and flipped the script on how to bring people together for hard and important conversations. This new documentary tells the story of what happened, exploring what is possible when a conference is curated around care and wellbeing.

PUBLICATION:
We have established five key priorities emerging from the Artlands 2023 process. Behind each priority sits a library of documentation gathering over the Artlands 2023 co-design process, supporting the recommended strategies.
The priorities emerging from Artlands 2023 have informed our 2024 programming and advocacy, and will continue to develop throughout our activities in these areas.
