The 2022 Creative Regions National Summit brought together industries and policy sectors from regional Australia at Parliament House, to facilitate conversations on a whole of ecology approach, led by creative industries and cultural practice. These discussions were informed by the development of Regional Arts Australia's Regional Strategic Framework which integrates industries such as tourism, hospitality, manufacturing, agriculture, and technology with the creative sector to unlock cultural potential and support distinctive assets of the regions and their communities.

Partnerships are critical and key in leveraging cross industry support and championing arts in regional, rural and remote Australia beyond the arts sector. It is through place-based strategy that industries and policy sectors are brought together to build diverse, adaptive and more sustainable communities.

RAA’s Regional Strategic Framework unlocks the cultural ambition and potential of regional Australia by integrating industries such as tourism, hospitality, manufacturing, agricultural and technology with the creative sector and supporting the distinctive assets of a region and their communities.
