OPEN:
REGIONAL ARTS AUSTRALIA ASSESSOR POOL

The Assessor Pool is a national register of artists, arts workers and industry experts with the skills and knowledge to make a fair and informed assessment of applications to Regional Arts Australia programs, who have nominated their interest in being an Assessor.
People working or engaged within the arts and community sectors are encouraged to put forward an expression of interest. We are seeking a broad range of candidates in terms of artform area, age, location, cultural background and career stage from artists, practitioners, administrators, and other sector professionals.
The Assessor Pool will be used to assess applications to Regional Arts Australia programs and will be made available to Regional Program Administrators in each state and territory who may choose to contract assessors for Regional Arts Fund Project Grant and Quick Response Grant applications.
The names of assessors in the Pool will be published on the Regional Arts Australia website. Assessor details for each funding round will remain confidential.

Payment

Assessors will be remunerated for their work.

Commitment

Assessors will remain in the Pool for three years. Assessors included in the Pool may be invited to join a panel to assess applications in support of Regional Arts Australia’s funding programs and initiatives. Assessors may be asked to attend meetings online and will need to access and use SmartyGrants.
Assessors will be required to complete an induction to ensure you have a clear understanding of the roles and responsibilities of Regional Arts Australia and as an assessor.
Assessors must comply with the Regional Arts Australia privacy policy, conflict of interest, confidentiality, and code of conduct policies.
Assessors will need to provide an invoice for your work with a current Australian Business Number (ABN).
There is no obligation to take part in assessments if invited.

Accessibility

We will work with assessors to meet any additional access requirements before each assessment.

Please feel free to contact Regional Arts Australia if you have any questions: rafmanager@regionalarts.com.au
