Lucy Lamb / Regional Scribe
New South Wales/Wiradjuri Country
Lucy turns her philosophical musings into skilfully crafted absurdist, meta-modern literature. She scored an E4 in the HSC for her English Extension 2 piece, which creatively dissected Joseph Heller’s Catch-22 and its literary criticism. She enjoys hybridising forms, as well as concepts, and displays our biggest questions regarding life, hope and the self in many different shades and colours. Lucy will undertake a Bachelor of International Relations at the Australian National University in 2024 and aims to attain a Bachelor of Laws in coming years. She has been greatly successful in the Premier’s Debating Challenge in the past - her team achieving Top 8 in NSW in 2022. She is an eager fictocritical, discursive and narrative writer and will take all writing opportunities to be subversive regarding established concepts and literary/political criticism.
