Jade Irvine / Artlands 2023

Jade Irvine is an artist and writer living in nipaluna/Hobart. Jade researched small museum object collections for her Honours thesis, writing about the Oak Lodge museum in Richmond, Tasmania. Jade was a participant in the 2022 National Gallery of Australia’s Digital Young Writers Mentorship and has written for a range of art publications including un Magazine, Assemble Papers, and ArtsHub. Her creative work centres on re-examining her cultural identity, as well as articulating a sense of place through landscape. She is currently working across digital mediums to produce audio and video content as part of her professional practice.
