Holly Cowan / Artlands 2023

Holly is a community development practitioner, volunteer and mum who finds joy in developing meaningful relationships with the communities she works and lives. Growing up on a farm near Lochiel in regional South Australia led her to recognise the importance of conversations to drive positive outcomes as a tool for resilience and wellbeing – and one of the best conversation starters is art! She has used art as a tool to engage with young people, as a means to run community-led disaster recovery programs in Local Government and to bring colour, conversation, identity, pride and economic recovery to her local communities.
