Dear reader, it is I, Heidi. My journey as a writer begins with my birth and being named after a book. My overflowing bookshelves are a testament to my love of literature and my love of keeping stories alive. I want to write to inform anyone of my feelings and to express how I see the world. My poetry is an extension of myself, and my longer pieces of writing feel like an attempt to put myself in the world around me.
