Fiona Morrison / Artlands 2023
I have over 25 years’ experience in the community sector with a key focus on social impact through creative and cultural engagement.
I currently direct Catalystoz, an independent contemporary Community Cultural Practice organisation with a mission to create opportunities for site and social-specific events, activities, and exhibitions to foster dialogue and dismantle barriers between individuals of all backgrounds by bringing people together through the creative processes of young and emerging artists.

My areas of speciality include events development and coordination, youth and volunteer program development and implementation, strategic agency, social advocacy, community, and stakeholder engagement.
My aspiration in participating in Artslands 2023 is to ensure the relevance, feasibility and vitality of arts practice and industry in regional Australia. My key focus areas are the engagement of young and emerging artists, volunteers, and the pathways for mentorship in regional arts.
