Bridie Weaver / Artlands 2023

Bridie Weaver is a printmaker and installation artists who has recently made the switch to arts management in the Queensland local government sector. Her passion lies in curation, collections management and the development of emerging artists. Bridie is currently working as the Arts and Cultural Advisor for the Banana Shire Council in Central Queensland, providing arts programming and support to diverse communities over an area of over 28,000 square kilometers. This position allows her to address the barriers to entry that limit sustainable arts careers in regional Queensland.
