Anzara Clark / Artlands 2023

Anzara Clark is a Ballarat based, award winning, multi-disciplinary artist whose work explores various paper, textiles, fibre, and recycled material manipulations, overlaid with textile process interventions. Conceptually and materially, she is interested in the transformative possibilities of damage and wounding, finding inspiration in discarded and damaged materials. Her work asks questions about value and sustainability, challenges assumptions about what has worth and seeks to expose unexamined perspectives. Alongside her studio practice Anzara teaches, facilitates arts workshops and consults to arts projects, sharing her passion for the arts, always learning; and is continually inspired by the rich learning journeys of others.
