Amy Firth / Communications Lead
Since completing her Arts degree at Charles Sturt University in 2003 (BA Communications -Theatre/Media) Amy’s work as an artist, creative producer and communications consultant has taken her around the globe spanning many sectors including the Arts (Sydney Opera House, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Melbourne Comedy Festival), higher education, FTSE 100 corporate companies and the charity sector. Born and raised on Dharug & Gundungurra Country, she has recently returned to the Blue Mountains with her partner and their daughter, after living in London for 12 years.
Passionate about storytelling, community and ritual, Amy is also an ordained Interfaith Minister offering bespoke, creative ceremonies to people of all faiths and beliefs. A proud member of the LGBTQI+ community, her celebrancy work has a strong focus on serving those who long for a sacred celebration and a place of spiritual safety.
From ceremony, to songwriting or corporate communications – Amy is devoted to the power of words and their ability to heal, educate, unite and celebrate. She is passionate about the role of the Arts, and the importance of it being an accessible life force and resource to people of all walks of life. She is proud to be working for Regional Arts Australia and supporting their important, expansive and courageous work.
