Clunes Booktown Festival 2019 – Regional Arts Australia Stall

Supporting regional, remote and rural authors, artists and arts organisations to share their publications with a national audience.

About Clunes Booktown Festival

The Clunes Booktown Festival is all about celebrating books and the great conversations and big ideas that come from them. The Festival is turning the stereotype of rural towns on its head: from slow, dusty and dry to a hub of ideas and the arts.

In 2007 the first Booktown was held. Since then a two-day festival, Clunes Booktown Festival has been held annually in May. Over 60 booktraders from around Australia bring stock to the town and set up shop for the weekend. Street entertainment, food and wine, music and writer’s talks add to the festivities.

About Regional Arts Australia’s Stall

Regional Arts Australia will be holding a stall at Clunes Booktown Festival to showcase the high calibre of authors, artists, and arts organisations across regional, remote and rural Australia.

Regional Arts Australia sees the promotion of regional Australian arts as paramount and this opportunity will enable us to provide a platform for a national engaged audience to see the work of regional, remote and rural artists and authors. Further, Regional Arts Australia seeks to offer access for all regional Australians to arts experiences and this opportunity will enable regional artists and organisations to showcase their work in an accessible way.

In an exclusive opportunity, Regional Arts Australia invites all regional, remote and rural authors, artists and arts organisations to submit an expression of interest for publications to be included at the Regional Arts Australia stall at Clunes Booktown Festival, Victoria on 4-5 May, with all sales going directly back to you. We will be including a diverse range of publications from authors, artists and arts organisations from around Australia. Publications from all genres are accepted.
