PARTNER WITH US

Backing people and places - together

Regional Arts Australia has spent 80+ years building the trust, networks, and knowledge to unlock creative potential in communities across the country. Partnerships are how we go further.

SOME OF OUR CURRENT PARTNERS

INVESTING IN THE CREATIVE AMBITION OF REGIONAL AUSTRALIA

Australia's regional and remote creative sector is uniquely positioned to strengthen national resilience, generate economic opportunity, and enrich the social and cultural life of our communities.

Creativity is not a luxury. It is an essential driver of innovation, wellbeing, connection and sustainable growth. Across regional Australia, artists and creative organisations are helping communities navigate change, build local identity, attract visitors, create jobs and imagine new futures.

For more than 80 years, we have worked alongside artists, communities and regional organisations to expand access to the arts, foster collaboration, strengthen creative careers and ensure Australian stories are shared across diverse landscapes and art forms. We understand regional communities because we are a regional organisation. Our work is place-informed, community-led and artist-centred.

WHAT WE DO

Trusted by government. Embedded in communities. Active across every state and territory. This is how we work.
When you partner with Regional Arts Australia, you're not backing a single program. You're accessing 80+ years of capability - built to connect, embed, and generate impact across regional Australia.

OUR REACH

Regional Australia is changing fast. The communities that will thrive are the ones investing now in the connective tissue - culture, creativity, identity. We know how to unlock that creative ambition. We bring national reach, deep regional networks and a proven track record of delivering meaningful outcomes. We understand the realities of regional Australia and have the relationships, knowledge and experience to turn investment into impact.

WHY PARTNER WITH REGIONAL ARTS AUSTRALIA

We are seeking partners who share our belief in the transformative power of creativity and the potential of regional Australia. Whether through government investment, philanthropic support or strategic collaboration, we welcome conversations about how we can work together to create lasting impact for artists, communities and the nation.

The most meaningful change happens when organisations commit to long-term, trust-based partnerships. Effective partnerships are not transactional. They are relational. They create the conditions for ambitious thinking, innovation and lasting impact. They allow organisations like ours to trial evidence-based models, respond to emerging needs, and demonstrate the long-term value of investing in people and place. With the support of government, philanthropy and corporate partners, we can expand opportunities for regional artists, strengthen local creative ecosystems and ensure regional communities continue to thrive.

WHAT OUR PARTNERSHIPS LOOK LIKE IN PRACTICE

OUR APPROACH

We believe every Australian, regardless of where they live, can participate in and contribute to this country's cultural life. That conviction - held since our founder Dorothy Helmrich envisaged it in 1943 - shapes everything we do. We are not looking for one-off funders. We are looking for partners who see regional Australia as an investment, who understand that success begets success, and who are ready to build something that lasts.

Let's work together.
We are trusted, practical, and networked - and we would welcome the opportunity to discuss a partnership in more detail.
