Sigrid Langker / Grants Manager

Sigrid has ten years’ arts funding experience from working at the Australia Council for the Arts where she worked across multiple projects including the National Indigenous Art Awards, the Indigenous Art Code and the musée du quai branly project in Paris.

One of Sigrid’s career highlight this far was working on the musée du quay branly project where she translated and helped launch the installation of Lena Nyadbi’s Dayiwul Lirlmim on the roof top of the muse du quai branly in Paris.

She has high- level relationship management experience with federal and state governments, corporations, donors, not- for- profit organisations, Australian art organisations and individual artists. She has extensive knowledge of the Australian Arts Sector and funding opportunities for individual artists and arts organisations.

Most recently she was a senior grants officer managing the multi – year funding for the Australia Council’s four year funded organisations, an expert advisor for the Playing Australia national touring program and the National Touring Status program.

She has highly developed collaborative skills for working in teams to help develop the capabilities of others and achieve optimum outcomes. She has strong networks established in the industry on a regional, state and national basis.

Sigrid is delighted to join the Regional Arts Australia team as Grants Manager and is looking forward to the journey ahead, enabling access and participation in the Australian cultural landscape for all Australians.
