Carolyn Dew / Finance and Governance Coordinator
Carolyn holds a degree and a post-graduate diploma in fine arts from the Victorian College of the Arts. She began her working life as a preservation photographer at the State Library of Victoria and now has over 25 years of experience working in the arts sector.
Carolyn held the position of inaugural Managing Curator for the Latrobe University Visual Arts Centre, Bendigo (now LAI). She was the Artistic Coordinator for the celebrated not-for-profit arts organization The Torch, from 2010 to 2017. Based in the central Victorian city of Bendigo, Carolyn contributed to Artlands 2018 as a local creative consultant.
A photo-media artist best known for still life colour photographs that document the individual and cultural practices expressed in the materiality of our everyday environments, Carolyn's images were most recently exhibited in the Ravenswood Australian Women's Art Prize in Sydney (2019) and Gothic Beauty (2018) at the Bendigo Art Gallery.
